We are a non-profit organization that specializes in disaster relief. We target the smaller cities and towns that aren't getting all of the attention, but need just as much help as the big cities.
Our team of founders and directors has been raising money for disaster relief as early as 2004. Eventually, they banded together and combined their efforts to form this organization, Ohana Stronger Together. Together we hope to raise more money, give better support, and help more people.
Our mission is to help people in need of disaster relief, who aren't currently receiving a lot of support from the government or other organizations.
Cindy is the driving force behind Ohana. She does not know the word no or how to stop. The best way to describe her is she is the human version of the road runner, BEEP BEEP! When not wearing her Ohana cape, she can be found enjoying the river with her family or snuggling one of her many pets.
John King is a local real estate broker who leads with his heart. His love for his community is what drives him to do the things he does. When not working with Ohana, he can be found fishing or hunting with his family and supporting our community in any way he can.
Jessica is a second generation native Floridian. She was born and raised in Indian River County and moved back to raise her family here. When not volunteering with Ohana, she is often exploring new places in Florida with her teenage daughter.
Kevin is an attorney who is active on many charitable organizations. He and his family can be seen around town volunteering and supporting local businesses.
Sherri is a local real estate agent and former business owner. She is always active in our community. She is well known for her enthusiasm for her country and her community.
Lisa is an elementary school teacher who prioritizes her students and their wellbeing. She recently became a board member after being a volunteer for many years.
Michelle Morris was chief of police for Sebastian for many years. Her family is very active in our community and volunteers for many other organizations.
John was the visionairy for what would become Ohana Stronger Together. A true leader and community partner in every aspect of the word, John loved to give back to his community and his country. He lived to serve and that extended to his time in the Marines and eventually as a Realtor and Broker. He started our journey into disaster relief after seeing the utter devestation left behind by Hurricane Katrina in 2005 where he oversaw the transport of numerous semis and trucks of much needed supplies to New Orleans and surrounding areas. He always wanted to make sure that the average working class individual was taken care of.
We live our mission with John in our minds and forever in our hearts.
